About Calamity Jean

Starting as a husband and wife folk duo, Calamity Jean has since teamed up with former Hot Heads to form the 6 piece band you see today. Collectively we have played jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, garage rock, punk, swing, classic country, power pop (etal.), all of which get stirred into our musical melting pot...the Americana way

We have been playing around the Twin Cities and surrounding area for the last 15 years. We love playing the Northeast Folk Festival at Grumpy's Bar every year, and have appeared at the Minnesota Folk Festival. We could drop some names about who we have shared stages with, but Mo says "nobody cares about that shit".
